The U20 Girls are heading back home after their European Championship ended with a win against Latvia on Sunday. The win, which came after Hind Ben Abdelkader hit a deep threepointer, secured the 11th spot in the final rankings for Belgium.

France and Spain were set to play the finals, in which the latter came out victorious to claim back the title they had since 2011 but lost last year to France. The Netherlands beat Russia in the bronze medal game.
Hind Ben Abdelkader, the Belgian guard, became the tournament scoring leader after finishing with 30 points for the second time in 9 games. She averaged 22 points per game during the European Championship.
